Bellydance Tuition Shema regularly teaches workshops and classes in various styles and instructs in prop balancing and fire work. She takes the safety of her students very seriously, so will spend time on correct posture and on building up the muscles to create strong, accurate and safe movements. The focus of the tuition is in encouraging students to appreciate the subtleties of Arabic music and how to express those through the dance with joy and elegance. The beauty of this dance is that it is suitable for everyone, regardless of age, shape, size, fitness level and even injuries can be worked around. It is a great way to get/keep fit, meet new friends, catch up with old friends, discover your body and most of all, have fun! Shema is a fully insured member of Equity and has 1st Aid Certification.
Shema also teaches private lessons in many styles from beginner to advanced levels.
- Most workshops are suitable for complete beginners unless otherwise specified.
- Men are also welcome to all classes and workshops unless otherwise stated.
