  • Flexibelly(c) is a series of regular classes designed by Shema, which  systematically instruct the dancer in order to attempt safe backbends, improve flexibility, strengthen, loosen tight hip muscles and eventually work towards more advanced moves such as splits and floor work.

  • Using a steady but concentrated progression, dancers learn to control their bodies through strength work, building up to more intensive stretching and backbends at the end of term, according to each student's abilities.

  • This class will give you the tools to dance safely and avoid injury when performing or practicing bellydance and floor work.
  • Class numbers are limited to ensure individual attention and safety and are suitable FOR ALL LEVELS OF DANCE AND FITNESS.

Current class times: The Dance Space in Bristol Fridays, 6.15-7.15pm


Flexibelly is not suitable for Workshops but alternative versions may be possible- please email for information.



If you are attending a class then please bring a yoga mat, towel, water bottle and warm up as much as possible before the class for maximum benefit.
