DAR TANGERINA 

THE ELEGANT ART OF BELLYDANCE

 

Founded in 2005, Dar Tangerina is run by Shema, International Bellydancer, Musician & Henna Artist,

providing Performances, Tuition, Workshops, Events and Study Trips to Morocco.

 

Shema specialises in teaching and performing Egyptian Bellydance, Moroccan Sha'abi, Props, Fire Dance and Egyptian Folklore. She plays Kemanja (Arabic Violin) and is an apprentice with Arabesque Dance Company and Orchestra.

Bellydance is an Art form which I am passionate about in every way.


I am known for my high-quality classes and workshops as well as elegant and entertaining shows and events.


My aim is to present this dance in a positive and intelligent way which enables everyone to understand the subtleties, strength and humour within the movements and the links with Arabic music and culture.
